Tableau Public Account

After I build out a (mostly open source) back end architecture to extract and transform the data, I like to visualize it here with Tableau Public.

I studied Math at University of San Francisco (Go Dons), and after college taught various Math, English and Computer science classes in small classroom, private in-person and online settings across Hong Kong, Costa Rica and the Bay Area.

After learning some basics about data, I have worked my way into a Business Intelligence Engineering career. My job is to curate, visualize and build the underlying housing and transportation for structured and unstructured data. I get to use my passion for thoughtful, enlightening explanation to help companies and their various teams use information in their communication, which in turn urges them towards those single-source-of-truth data-driven ideals to which they aspire.

I have always loved telling stories and I am obviously inclined towards ones that teach some larger lesson, so I think it follows that I have now found that I love building more technical tools to help tell those stories and teach those lessons. And when it comes to tales that I want to tell for myself, those tend to come from the areas of sports, math, culture and the intersections thereof.
